Baltimore’s NVSV gets deep on his new single “Fear of the Unknown” produced and written by him, himself.. He explains “N-ggas fear what they don’t know. Niggas know they don't want fear..” its like an ignorance is bliss type of thing.” That's just the Maryland artist’s way of thinking though, his goal with the music is often self reflection.

The single dropped on Independence Day, we haven't gotten any insight as to what the connection was. However, the single is said to be from NVSV's coming project Vessel also self-produced and written scheduled to release on all major DSP's August 8th.
"I produce the majority of my music, from live instrumentation to sampling. Of course I write my raps. That feels weird to explain, but you know the times we in.." the rapper unveils. He previewed the album at a local park June 18th, rousing listeners and fans. He says they are excited to experience this new chapter with him.
A lot of thoughts NVSV spews out on tracks are birthed from learning experiences of his. His relocation from Baltimore to Pittsburgh for art school, then to New York and back to Baltimore, also shaped much of his sound and creative direction. Yet, interestingly enough NVSV is driven by visual apposed to musical artists like Dakari, Akil, Poorteffy, Kerry James Marshall and more.
As he enlightens us about making the art being his favorite part of the process, versus the actual art. A true creative.
We look forward to more dope drops in-between or from his coming project Vessel.
