Janae Offers 4 Versions of Herself on "4 For 4" EP

Washington DC’s own Janae has been leveling up since she took her talents to the A! Not that her super rare and honest energy in her music didn't rock the District. Atlanta simply amplified it. She picks herself apart on her most recent EP “4 for 4” on which she jam packs the four different versions of herself. A project she says showcases her versatility. “It has 4 different songs with all different sounds and vibes." Janae explains.

It became difficult for the artist to create projects because she didn't feel like they embodied her true range, so she tailored this short body of work to reflect her various sounds. There are two singing songs and two rap songs produced by a super dope producer by the name of Deezbeats based out of Baltimore.” says the artist. "Deep" and "Own It" are more sultry and chill while "Ca$h APP" and "Lick Back" bring us the tear-the-club-up vibes.

On this project we experience Janae's super evolved creativity from her writing to her beat selection. The Southeast artist worked closely with the writer StarrZ to "bring her different flavors together and make some really nice vibes" as she puts it.
